Pad Kra Pow - Thai chilli, garlic and basil tofu with enoki, fresh shiitake and king oyster mushroom.

Handmade kimchi + tofu + chives + king oyster mushroom dumplings in the process of making. I’ve made it in tortellini fold for steaming and dumpling fold for pan frying.

The dumpling skins were also handmade with both white and wholegrain flour.

Still practicing haha - the toughest part in making the skins is making them all even - especially since I hand rolled them and then keeping them in the same diameter haha - which all pretty much failed but they’re still edible. Just gotta keep practicing folding em :)

Can’t wait to cook ‘em will post em up when I do.

This was my breakfast today - I thought I deserved a decent meal for breakfast for once. Consists of:
Kimchi fried rice topped with sliced fried tofu - I added peas and corns for more veggies.
Seaweed and tofu korean miso soup
Radish Kimchi
Roasted Seasoned Seaweed
Sliced Apples
2 x Green tea mochi
I wish I could have breakfast like this everyday - if only I could adopt a 5-6 am start lifestyle which is practically impossible if i’m going to pursue being a visual communications designer.
It would be so nice to have meals in reverse everyday xD dinner first, then lunch then breakfast, desssert can stay put … or just more frequent meals. 24 hours is not enough :(
Doenjang (Korean Miso) thin soup with sliced zucchini, rice tubes, beansprouts and green onions.
It’s a real simple easy soup to make - and so comforting and delicious. Makes me wanna make some miso ramen topped with sweet corn and other delicious toppings. xD

Tomato + carrots + potatoes + celery + mushroom + shittake stalks + onion _LOTS OF BLACK PEPPERCORN. Gotta love this cold weather and YAY we have loads of soup for the weeek and I shall not go hungry!
I thought I’d take photo of the process of making some radish kimchi. I looooovee radish kimchi. Radish has a wonderful strong flavour that’s so delicious with kimchi’s garlicky-ness. And the crunchiness of the radish is just fantastisch.

It’s such a great deal and a good fix if you’re hungry!
